  Description

  Hello!
  We are Sara and Nejc, a travelling couple from green Slovenia :)
  We spent the last 5 years, renting VW campervans to travellers who come to explore Slovenia and the Balkans.
  In the winter (when campervan season was off) we were tour guides in Asia and South America. We really love to travel :)
  Nejc is 10 years older than me, so he was the first one who wanted to settle down. We bought a small farm in a beautiful forest in East Slovenia. The idea is to; rebuild an old house using natural materials, learn how to grow food, organise cool events, play instruments, make fire, connect with nature and with similar travelling souls all over the world.
  We are searching for similar minded people, to join us on our farm to help us with our projects and to have fun :).

  Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

  Travellers will be able to get to know us and our friends - a relaxed people from Slovenia, good English speaking friends, that will except you and pass you everything we know about this part of the world. You will also be able to relax 100% in untouched nature of our place. If you like woods, our place is perfect for you. The trees are extremely diverse. We also have a lot of wild birds, deer. The place has great energy and is perfect to reconnect.
  We will learn how to build from natural materials, which wild plants we can eat, which of them are medicinal, and much more.

  Help

  We are looking for people who will help us to make our place even more magic as it is now. We will mostly work on organizing the surroundings. For example - we want to build a wooden platform for sunrise watching, a wooden fence around the garden, small compost toilet, a pond for frogs, outdoor kitchen made out of stones, a fireplace, wooden bench, and more. We are working easy, no stress and no rushing.

  We will be more than happy to teach you as much of Slovenian language as possible. We can also help you with the English, if this is not your fluent language. We would also be very happy if we can practise Spanish (if we can get Spanish speaking helpers) for example.

  Accommodation

  You will stay in a small beautiful wooden cabin. We built it with intention to rent it out one day, when the project is finished. For now it will be a perfect place for work away friends. Wooden cabin has a bedroom in upper floor. Downstairs is a small kitchen, dining table, work table + sofa. Toilet and showers are 50 m away. At this point we have a source of drinking water coming straight from the hill and it is great. Since we love Latin America, this small cabin will be dedicated to Peru. This means that the equipment will be in Peruvian - native American style.

  What else ...

  In your free time you can explore surrounding hills. Our place is on 700 m, so the air is clean and you have plenty of options for hiking, cycling and more. There are also thermal spas and wellness centre only 10 km's from our place with beautiful pools and saunas. It is quite budget friendly too :).
  Our place is great also for reading and chilling.
  Capital of Slovenia - Ljubljana - is located one hour from our place. You will be able to go to Ljubljana whenever you will want, to change the environment a bit, go to a party or other interesting event in the city.

  Space for parking camper vans

  Since we are 100% vanlife fans, we have a space for one campervan. We love old school VW vans but also newer models are welcomed. However, we can't host big motorhomes at our place. If you have a van - welcomed!

  We love animals, workawayers with pets are welcomed :).
