Description
Our Retreat Center at San Geronimo Lodge is a rural retreat center in the high desert of northern New Mexico. Our property is 100 years old and sits on 3 acres which include a seasonal swimming pool, sauna, yoga yurt, meditation path and 19 rooms. We are close enough to the town of Taos but just far away to experience peace and quiet. Our property is near tons of hiking trails and just 40 minutes away from Taos Ski Valley and 5 minutes away from the Historic Taos Pueblo. We host a variety of retreats (yoga, meditation, writing, etc) throughout the year and we also operate as a lodge. We are growing and need housekeeping and general upkeep around the property. Workawayers can expect lodging NM state minimum wage, and new friends ;)

Taos is home to the Taos Pueblo- a world heritage site and the longest continuously inhabited pueblo in the region. When you come to Taos you will notice the enchanting adobe buildings and homes as well as the large artist community that has developed. If you are interested in native history and native art, Taos is a great place to be.

Help
We are looking for a couple of people to help us move furniture around, paint furniture, paint trim, paint doors and help shovel some snow if needed… We may ask them to help with some cleaning and will possibly need help testing the hot tub daily.
Workawayers can expect lodging and NM state minimum wage. Grocery stores are within 5 minutes driving distance. We may be able to provide a vehicle.

You will stay in a room on the property that has a bed, a Keurig, a mini fridge, toaster oven, Private bathroom with shower. Closet for storage and hanging clothes, and a dresser. Private entrance.

Taos is a rural town with the nearest airport in Santa Fe (1.5 hours drive) or Albuquerque (2.5 hours drive). There are countless trails nearby and the town square is 2 miles away for shopping or eating.
