Description
My name is Athir, and I'm a neorural teacher passionate about exploring ancient techniques for sustainable living. I delve into ecoconstruction and permaculture, fully embracing the natural world and its abundant potential. Nestled in a northeast Tunisian village, I host participatory workshops and share my experiences. Beyond this, I offer opportunities to connect with the local environment through diverse activities, from diving, sailing, and windsurfing in the village sea to hiking and climbing in the local mountains. When I'm not immersed in nature or sharing skills, you might find me juggling, slacklining, or enjoying live music performances on the land.

For jugglers, windsurfers, and climbers, this is the place to be. Otherwise, I can share my experiences in these fields. As a perpetual learner, I'm also keen to embark on new activities. Workawayers will particularly benefit from a cultural exchange, discovering the rich history of the region and its unique pottery techniques. You'll also get to explore our delicious culinary traditions, and we'll even cook together!
Help
As a workawayer, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to our daily life here. Currently, I'm focused on building a superadobe dome and working with COB construction. Caring for plants and trees is also a regular part of the week. You'll be contributing around 5 hours each day, leaving plenty of time to enjoy other activities.
