Description
I am a 75 year old, healthy, easy going author and business consultant living with my 12 year old standard poodle, Doris, one year old Lagotto Raphy, four cats and two chickens in an old converted farmhouse in a rural commune in South West France . I work online from home consulting and whilst I am pretty fit, I am recovering from a slipped disc in my back and am finding the dogs impossible to walk. I'm looking for someone to spend around 2 hours a day walking them for me (two, one hour walks, morning and afternoon) and maybe doing some light gardening or general help around the house so say, 4 hours help a day in total. I have a fully equipped pottery here and a lovely swimming pool that you are welcome to use. I also have a couple of bicycles.

I have written over thirty craft books and, whilst I am a beginner at pottery I do have a small but fully equipped pottery studio here that you could use. You might also persuade me to teach you how to make soap as I wrote the definitive book on the subject and occasionally run courses here. I currently teach people how to turn their ideas into businesses most specifically involving natural skincare products but also setting up online courses.
Help
Could do with someone practical and non smoking. I'm not into cooking really so would expect you to muck in and cook your own meals when necessary from my overstocked fridge. I am terrible hoarder and if the weather is bad would love some help clearing stuff and getting it to the tip. Otherwise I really just need help walking my dogs.

Accommodation
This is a rambling farmhouse but without extensive land. I can offer a small studio gite with two single beds, TV with UK channels, double shower room and kitchenette.
What else ...
Whilst I am situated 10kms from four beautiful bastides (market townlets) and a twenty minute drive from Bergerac, transport is a problem here so you would really need your own or at very least a clean driving license. I do have two bikes here you could use too. This is a big tourist area so always lots going on between April and September.

Whilst the connection in my gite where you will sleep is not good I have two sources of great internet in my house and there is a room you could work in. I also have internet outside on the deck by the gite.
