  Description

  Wayanad is one of the beautiful places on earth and demographically one of the most socially and economically backward districts in India. Wayanad is home to a vibrant and aspirational young generation, that is yearning for opportunities. Our mission is to provide a HIGH quality and WORLD CLASS education to this deserving community. We encourage our children to have exposure to international cultures, thought processes and experience and constantly strive to have such interactions. We welcome passionate individuals that would like to be a guide, mentor and coach in our learner driven programs in 3,6 or 12 month durations, based on their flexibility.
  
  We currently have about 30 full time teaching staff and 15 non teaching staff. The teaching staff handle both our traditional school and perform roles at our learner driven school. The non teaching staff comprise our bus drivers and maintenance staff.

  Help

  Our Workawayers will be performing the role of a guide in our learner driven campus engaging in the following activities
  
  1) Act as a role model as an independent learner on a hero’s journey
  2) Launch and lead Socratic discussions
  3) Co-create and launch quests (projects), including daily challenges and curating world class examples
  4) Encourage young learners to track their progress and create portfolios to show parents, peers and apprenticeship employers what they can do
  5) Pass along each of these responsibilities to students as quickly as possible, so as to allow students to lead themselves
  
  The workawayer will be helping with the Head of School and other experienced guides to share their responsibilities. This will primarily be engaging with kids in the foundational years (4-7 years old) and in elementary (7-11 year old). Workawayers can also choose to coach our Middle and High schoolers as well.

  Accommodation

  We will provide a fully furnished apartment type housing with a living area, bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen will be stocked with utensils, groceries and a gas connection. A cooking help will be provided as needed.

  Transportation to/from the school to the apartment will be provided. Local transportation via tuk-tuks or buses are very safe and secure. Cost of living in Wayanad is one of the cheapest in India. Wayanad is a sought after tourist destination and has lots to offer in hiking trails, scenic spots, off-road adventures, camping sites, waterfalls, tea and coffee estates and much more.
