  • What else ...

    What else ...

In Geiranger you’ll have breathtaking views, waterfalls and hiking trails right on your doorstep. And with short workdays, plenty of time to explore. The hike to famous Skageflå farm, starts from our site.
Explore the village by foot, bike or by boat, check out your fishing skills, use our boat, go ziplining, or rent a kayak in the city centre. Geiranger also has a Fjord Center which displays past and present fjord life brilliantly.

From Geiranger you can go to other popular venues in our region, such as Stryn, Loen and of course Ålesund - the largest city in our region - and with it’s famous Jugend architecture.

Small villages with long stretches between, makes it convenient to have a car around here, but if you are happy with exploring mainly in and around Geiranger, you’ll be fine without a car. Buses, ferries and boats will still allow you to venture out of the village if you need a change of air.
