We are a non-profit association created in 2000. Our purpose is to share a traditional rural way of living from our region “le Var” known for being the first producer of flowers in France. We would like to instil the development of a more sustainable and collaborative way of living in order to create a cooperative among rural actors.
This association owns a 5,000 m2 parcel of land surrounded by vineyards and a nice river. One of the main features of the farm is a common kitchen where local neighbours and workers often gather and share in communal living, cooking and exchanges of ideas and values.
All the activities we are carrying out are within the framework of organic practices inspired by biodynamics and permaculture.
Here is a list of some of our activities:
- cultivating fruits and vegetables
- meal preparation
- taking care of animals (dogs, cats, chickens…)
- improving the living space (eco construction, yurt, caravans, caves…)
- handcraft (basketwork...)
- embellishment of the land

We are also working with different other associations for diverse causes that are related to ecology. Our last action was to support victims whose homes and lands were devastated by natural wildfires. We helped them to clean the debris of what remained of their homes.
Our collective is open to all ideas and are keen to involve anyone that is sharing our values which are: simplicity, friendship, self-management.

We are located at Flayosc, a small village in the region of Var.
We are living in a very simple way where comfort is at its very basic level.
This experience is for peoples who are not afraid of living a rustic life.

We would like to share a very simple way of life to our volunteers where the well-being of each of the peoples are at the center of everyone.

Auto-management is what we would like to promote. There is a lot of different projects that require our attention, but this would depend on the profile of the volunteer. Each one of the volunteers decide of which project they want to work on.

You will stay on-site in different part of the land, depending on the accommodation you prefer which included a yurk, camping car, couch, tent, house...
We will be providing tents and bedding
Bathroom is the river but we also have different water points located all over the land and the kitchen and common room is shared with everyone ( Volunteers, Staff, family...)
Foods are in abundance and are for all kinds of different diets (omnivore, Vegetarian, Vegan...). The meal is cooked and up to the volunteers to decide what to cook. Waters and foods are shared at any time as the kitchen is opened for every one. Miam miam.
