    Description

Hello, I am Antonius, a Dutch man who took over this project recently, together with my girlfriend we hope to create this place into a connection place with nature and with people. The Idea for now is to work on the building and to keep the permaculture garden going. There is a lot of work to do and to enjoy. I hope there will come people who are able to be part of this creation. The off-grid permaculture project that was started in 2016. The place situated not far from Torino in a wonderful valley called Valchiusella. This area is rich of beauties like the river Chiusella with natural pools, beautiful mountains and a great network of people and communities living an alternative life. We live in a naturally build home deep into the woods on a sunny mountainside at 700 meters altitude. We follow the rhythms of the seasons in our vegetable gardens, planting seeds in spring and starting harvest during the summer. We are semi-self-sufficient in food and completely self-sufficient in water, heating and electricity. In December 2023 I took over this farm and have big plans in creating new possibilities. We look for people that are adaptable, for example we don't have heating in every room and we pay attention to our water use. So we look for people who are enthousiastic about living with what nature offers. In less than half an hour walking you can reach the Brosso waterfalls and wonderful gorges where you can also swim.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

They can learn how to live in harmony with nature, attend to vegetable gardens and how to share daily life with others.
We are excited to share our experiences and practices. We are interested to learn more about the different cultures from the workawayers and what experience they might have in living in nature and community living.
We are connected to the Valchiusella community, so you can dive into the local culture and learn about other lifestyles close to nature.
