Description
Hi! My name is Eva, I am German. Between the ages of 20 and 30 I traveled a lot, and now I’ve been happily living in Uruguay for the past ten years with my two children, Nico (10) and Luci (9).
I have over 10 years of experience in gardening and have also done some earth building. I teach Spanish to German-speaking people and work in a conscious food store in Punta del Este.
This season I’m planning to grow a lot of vegetables – I love cooking with fresh ingredients and even sell green leaves locally. I enjoy sharing what I have, meeting people from all over the world, and giving my kids the chance to do the same.Types of help and learning opportunities

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
My house is a quiet place, it is close to the beach and if you like to be on your own, you will enjoy a lot. I spend a lot of time out of the house for working and with my kids'activities. You can always accompany us, we are able to teach German and Spanish, can tell you about some things refering to permaculture, gardening and living in nature. In Punta Negra there are many people with different projects, Candombe and a very nice natural surrounding, sport activities, surfing and walking.

Help
I appreciate help in the garden - this year I want to plant a lot of vegetables and green leaves and I need help for preparing the plants and the places to plant. You can also help with my kids, creative play or outside activities: my daughter loves any kind of creativity, my son is a football lover. You can also help out with house care and cooking - I love healthy food and do a lot of homemade cooking. The exchange is not for food but only for the accommodation which is a very nice and quiet place, but we can share some meal.

I am interested in learning Portuguese, I can teach you German, Spanish, and also English for beginners!Accommodation
My house is a tiny house. It is not very big but you will have your place for yourself, me and my kids live a few minutes away. We will be building a further space, but it will not be too noisy as we do natural construction. The house is made of clay and wood, so it is very cosy and healthy to live there. There is a vegetable garden outside. The place to sleep is upstairs, but we can also organize a matress for downstairs. Bathroom for yourself.
What else ...
Close to the city of Piriápolis, Punta del Este is available in bus, beach, walks, natural surroundings. You will not be bored, we enjoy having people from all around the world.
