Description
We are a Dutch family of 3, recently moved to the south of France and building a fully functional homestead in a 350 year old farmhouse. We live in rural Dordogne but also close to the main attractions.

We are in the hart of the Dordogne, the Périgord Noir. Close to Sarlat, the chateau’s and other interesting places. You will work hard and play hard. 😀

Help
We are looking for people to help us restock our wood supply, so chopping in our own woodlands, helping around the house, DIY projects, gardening in our regular yard but also vegetable gardens, helping with chickens, ducks, goats, and bees .. and also meeting new people and new friends ☺️

We have a guest room in the main house, a caravan that is fully equipped or a large tent. You can also bring your own tent or camping equipment all is possible. Even sleeping outside under the stars in a hammock would be an option.
What else ...
We have a large pool on our estate and are also close to the Dordogne River for swimming, canoeing, etc Hiking in the surrounding woodlands, visiting the chateaus, cave exploring, mountain biking, fishing, winetasting in the Bergerac/Bordeaux area. In the next town (le Buisson de Cadouin) is a train station that will take you to all the larger cities in the area. ( we can always pick you up or drop you off there)
