    Description

We are a family of four with our teenage daughter and toddler. We operate a full time homestead and seasonal yoga retreat. We have a large fishing pond and lots of maintained walking trails. Three beautiful working dogs, pigs with piglets and chickens in the summer. We also have a wood fire sauna year round and outdoor summer shower. We love to meet travellers and also offer harvest host stays. Lee owned a Crossfit gym for for 10 years and is a registered holistic nutritionist with a passion for healthy living. Erin is a teacher of yoga trained in Sivananda and Kundalini.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

Travellers can learn about homesteading and raising animals on pasture and in woodland. They can get a great experience of life in New Brunswick on the Miramichi. Opportunities to hunt, fish, swim, hike, snowshoe, cross country ski, have bonfires and bask in nature. Miramichi has many festivals to attend and is super friendly! We also teach yoga and can offer to share our knowledge.

We have a homestead that currently has pigs and dogs at the moment, chickens in the spring. We have some construction projects and repairs to do on our buildings. We love to meet people and learn about different cultures and interests. We also harvest host on our 100 acre getaway. We would love help with general maintenance, some building projects and animals.
