Bonjour!
Our family is looking for an help whose first language is English or Chinese to join us in our home in France from May to October 2017.We are looking for a caring and safe presence when we are at work and a playmate for our 2 daughters, Maxine (6 years) and Clémence (2 years). They are calm, funny and love a variety of activities (music, synchronized swimming, visual arts).
Whatever your age, we are seeking a person with the following qualities:
- experience with children (references related to childcare experience are a plus)
- highly motivated, communicative and with a sense of initiative
- trustworthy and dependable
- able to work some evenings and weekends, as needed (our jobs are demanding and sometimes require working outside of normal hours)
- non-smoker
Clemence will start pre-school in September 2017. Maxine attends pre-school from 8:30am to 11:30am and from 1:30pm to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday, except Wednesday afternoons, when French schools are closed. The local school is a few blocks away and can be reached by foot. On weekends, we have different activities and hobbies, including flying (Stephane is private pilot) and barbecue parties with friends and nearby family. We love to cook!

We live in a comfortable house with a large garden in Holtzheim, 15 km from the city center, on the outskirts of Strasbourg. Strasbourg has been a cultural crossroads since ancient times, and is nowadays home to the Council of Europe. It is a very clean city, offering a good balance between parks and outdoor recreation, and shopping and entertainment.
