Description
ciao, we run an organic citrus farm and we have an "agriturismo" cottage as well. If you love animals and gardening (and you are not a smoker) you will fit in here very well! We are good at cooking, if you are good as well than it's great! If not, we can teach you!
It's our very beginning hosting experience with workaway, but we have had experiences with other volunteer projects in organic farming and we have enjoyed it a lot.

Help
We mainly need help with the "agriturismo" job, welcoming guests, setting rooms, but there is much to do with the garden and orchard too and we have few Eco-projects going on beside the organic farming itself (as cleaning the country side areas from rubbish, creating woodlands and preventing summer fires from destroying them).

Accommodation
We host 1 or 2 workawayers at a time but not couples or friends and possibly not from the same country. We can speak italian, english and polish. There is a room with own lock possibility to eat with us or a kitchen and food to cook your own lunch. We have bicycles you can use to get around or to get to the bus station.
What else ...
We are situated in a quiet rural location, not far from the town of Lentini which you can reach in 10 minutes by bike. In town you'll have a train station (sicilian east rail way goes from Messina to Siracusa, and that's it!) and a bus stop (every hour to Catania and Siracusa). Mount Etna is not far, quite close to "Pantalica" natural park and the sea just 12 km away.
