Description
We’re a small social enterprise based in a peaceful village in the southwest of Chiang Mai, Thailand. Our project is rooted in community, culture, and connection. Work closely with local families, including traditional Lanna woodcraft artists, to preserve local knowledge while creating space for new ideas to grow.
We organize local impact trips, offer education to Thai kids and hill tribe communities, and recently started building a communal living space where like-minded people can come together to live simply and contribute meaningfully to the world around us.
The idea is to create something grounded and creative, a place full of artistic expression, a space that supports local heritage while inviting others to get involved, learn new skills, and be part of a thoughtful way of living.
If you’re someone who values nature, creativity, and community, we’d love to welcome you here :)Types of help and learning opportunities

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
You’ll be staying in a small Thai village surrounded by Lanna woodcraft artists, farmers, and families who have lived here for generations. You’ll have the chance to learn about local crafts, join village events, and see how life moves at a slower, more grounded pace.
You’ll also be working closely with Thai kids and hill tribe communities, exchanging language, ideas, and laughter. It’s a chance to experience Thai culture from the inside, not as a tourist, but as part of the community.
This place is built on connection, and we believe everyone who comes here brings something valuable to share.Help
We’re looking for volunteers who are kind, self-motivated, and open to living simply with others. This is a small, community-based project, so everyone plays an important role, not just in the work, but in daily life too.
Here are some of the areas where we could use your support:
Social media and storytelling – taking photos, making videos, editing, and helping us share what’s happening here
Gardening and permaculture – helping care for our backyard garden and learning to grow food in a natural way
Wellness leadership – guiding gentle practices like meditation or breathwork for our small community
Art and building – helping renovate and design parts of the space using local materials, adding creative touches
English teaching – creating fun and simple lessons for local Thai children and hill tribe youths
We do community work around 5 days a week, 4 hours a day depending on your role. The rest of the time is for rest, connection, and exploring the area. We welcome people who take initiative, enjoy working with others, and care about making a positive impact.Languages

We use English as the main language within the community, Local Thais know basic English but speak mainly Thai.Accommodation
We offer shared fan rooms, separated by gender, in a simple wooden house surrounded by trees and garden space. It’s not fancy, but it’s clean, peaceful, and built with care from local wooden materials.
You’ll be living alongside other volunteers and local community members, sharing common areas for cooking, relaxing, working, and gathering. There’s also a classroom and a small yoga sala for group sessions or quiet time. The vibe is very down to earth.
Alcohol isn’t allowed inside the house, and smoking is only permitted outside the space. A local food market is just a 5 minute walk away, so it’s easy to stay nourished with fresh, local meals. We have shared kitchen and eat together everyday.
This place is best for people who feel comfortable with simple living and enjoy being close to nature. The village is quiet, with calm mornings and slow, peaceful evenings. What else ...
On your days off, there’s plenty to explore nearby if you enjoy nature and local life. You can visit waterfalls, bike through the countryside, hike in the forest, or just relax with a good book in the garden. There’s a local craft village close by where you can meet artisans and learn about Lanna woodwork.
For transport, local buses (songthaews) pass through the main road, Grabs, and motorbikes are available to rent if you’d like more flexibility. We can help point you in the right direction once you're here.
We live simply and respectfully as a small community. We share meals, help each other out, and keep the space clean and peaceful. Quiet hours begin around 8pm so everyone can rest well. We don’t allow alcohol in the house, and ask that smoking happens outside the main living space.
This is a place for people who enjoy a slower pace, care about community, and are open to learning from the culture around them.A little more information
