Tätigkeiten, die mich interessieren:

Help children and the disadvantaged develop their skills and have a safe community to be part of. I'd also like to use my experience in ecommerce/marketing to help organizations grow their presence.

Beschreibung

I’m in my mid-30s and currently taking a career break to do something I’ve wanted to do for a long time: volunteer abroad. I’m especially drawn to projects that support children, disadvantaged communities, and women’s empowerment, and where I can be part of something meaningful at a local level.

I have around 10 years of experience in marketing and ecommerce, mainly working with website merchandising and content. I’d love to use this experience in a practical way to help hosts and NGOs improve their online presence and reach more people. I'm also very interested to interact first-hand with children and women, teaching them new skills where I can, and contributing to activities that help them engage in education and community.

On a personal level, I enjoy doing arts and crafts, yoga, fitness and kickboxing. I’m currently learning Spanish and really keen to improve through daily practice and living with locals. I’m open-minded, curious, and want to continue learning from others.

I’ve traveled a lot over the years, including most European countries and many parts of Asia. Central and South America has been on my list for a long time, and now feels like the perfect moment to finally explore it while volunteering and connecting with local communities.

I’m Taiwanese and grew up between the Netherlands and the UK, so I’m very comfortable in international environments. I’m easy to live and work with, curious, and always happy to learn new things.

I can be a little shy at first, but I really appreciate safe, warm, and welcoming spaces. Once I feel comfortable, I open up easily and enjoy connecting with people and being part of a community.
