Beschreibung

I am planning a trip in Chile (Santiago, Valparaiso, Atacama), Bolivia (if time allows) and Colombia (Medellin) for at least three months.

My availability to work as volunteer looks like this right now:
Chile (Valparaiso) : up to 3 first weeks of February 2024
Amazonas region: March 2024, up to 1 month
Colombia (Medellin): April 2024, up to 1 month

Of course I am glad to extend my stays when possible and discover a place even longer if time allows :)

My interests include outdoor sport activities and trips with cultural interest or to places with natural beauty. I love traveling in places that give the opportunity to get to know different cultures from my own, with outgoing people and that have good food!
My profession has been computer software engineering and data analysis for several years, so I could help also with technology oriented tasks.

As of foreign languages, in case it is helpful to have ; I can speak with quiet good accent English and Spanish, although i need longer time practicing conversations in Spanish. Otherwise, i know German and Norwegian since i was living in these countries before.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I do not have any volunteering experience in hostels but i have some with organizing social events voluntarily, if it will be relevant. I had a non-commercial group on meetup.com the past three years for day, weekend and multi-day trips in Norway. I was organizing transportation, accommodation, itinerary, and, sometimes, courses with professional trainers (e.g. ice climbing). I was also planning trekking, skiing and kayak routes. Apart from this it was very nice to know many new people, both Norwegians and expats and get together frequently for board game nights, BBQ etc.

My profession has been computer software engineering and data analysis for several year, so I could help also with technology oriented tasks.

I have some limited experience with manual work such as construction.
