Hi, I’m Uma — a nature-loving, hands-on traveler who’s always eager to learn and connect. I recently returned from a working holiday in Canada, where I had the chance to work and live in multicultural environments. That experience deepened my appreciation for meaningful work and cultural exchange.

I’m passionate about outdoor activities like hiking, climbing, and snowboarding — not just as hobbies, but as ways to stay grounded, take responsibility, and grow through challenge. I’m especially interested in Workaway projects related to agriculture, winemaking, and sustainable living. I enjoy physical work and value learning practical skills through real experience. I'm a hands-on and independent person with a deep love for the outdoors and movement. Whether it’s hiking, bouldering, running, or just getting my hands dirty in the garden, I enjoy physical work that connects me to nature and my own body. I’m currently training to improve my strength and endurance, and I enjoy challenging myself through activities like self-supported mountain treks and obstacle races.

While living in Canada, I gained experience working in different environments—from doing housekeeping tasks like cleaning rooms, making beds, and maintaining shared spaces, to taking transcription jobs that required focus, precision, and attention to detail. These experiences taught me to adapt quickly, communicate clearly, and stay organized in both physical and mental work.

I’ve also worked in the tech industry, where I was used to troubleshooting problems, handling changing situations, and managing tasks independently. Whether on a mountain trail or in a work team, I value responsibility, clear communication, and doing things with intention.

I love learning by doing and never shy away from hard work—especially when it involves something new. I’m open, curious, and always ready to contribute with energy, care, and respect.
