Hello!

I am a very friendly and curious person who likes to meet new people and discover new places. I love sports (to watch and also to play) and I feel really good when I can spend time in nature, with animals or plants. Hiking is one of my biggest passions – I enjoy long walks and sleeping outside in my hammock under the stars.

At home I have a small family cabin, which I am renovating slowly for the retirement of my parents. I studied woodworking at university, so I really like to work with wood and do practical, manual jobs. For me it is not only work, but also something that makes me happy.
I also like books and movies, especially horror. I am a big Stephen King fan, and I enjoy stories that are a little bit spooky.

For me Workaway is about learning new things, helping with projects, and sharing good time with people:))

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I studied wood science and forestry, so I know a bit about trees, wood, and nature. I enjoy taking care of my plants at home, and I often help my retired dad with his countryside house — looking after the chickens, a little beekeeping, taking care of his cats, gardening, and watering the plants.
I also renovate my mom’s cabin, which she will use for her retirement. I do new tiling, painting, and all sorts of manual work there, and I enjoy seeing the progress as things take shape.

Living in a big city makes me appreciate nature even more. Manual work is relaxing for me, and recently I’ve assembled many pieces of furniture while helping renovate our home.
I’m curious about work related to water. I’ve helped my brother-in-law a few times while sailing in the Mediterranean Sea, handling sails and the anchor.

I have a driving license and enjoy traveling around the Czech Republic by car. I always carry my hammock with me, so I can sleep outside if I find a nice spot. At home, I often help my parents care for my elderly grandmother, who lives with us.
