Beschreibung

Being a person that likes to step out of their comfort zone to achieve their goal, is what brought me to Workaway. Currently my goal is to broaden my horizons and work on my language an communication skills (that I value greatly). I don't seek out conflicts and dislike creating them, I prefer talking things through and compromising.

I would describe myself as adaptable, friendly, independent, and responsible. I don't have tendency to shy away from hard work if it's in my power to see it through. Furthermore, I highly enjoy spending time with kids -- I always try to think of creative ways to fill my time with them (playing games outside/inside, talking, doing some DIY with them etc.). In the past I owned a budgie and fish, all of which I helped taking care of, but I'd love to find out whether I'm a cat or dog (or any other pet) person :DD

Travelling to Spain during the summer has been my dream for the past year and I am finally taking a step towards achieving it! I cannot help myself but love Spanish and want to improve on it. Seven years back I fell in love with English and so ended up studying at a bilingual programme (ENG-SVK) in my secondary school. During my free time I informally teach /lead conversational lessons/ with a seven-year-old friend of mine, who is making wonderful progress in terms of his English. Sharing my knowledge and gaining other's knowledge is something I relish and will never get tired of. Next year I'm finishing my studies and hope to obtain a certificate from my Spanish school-leaving examination (apart from other subjects, of course).

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I have experience with gardening, basic DIY projects, sewing, informally teaching the English language. I also work at our school newsletter as graphic designer and have daily-user knowledge of computers and various programmes.

In my part-time job I work with children to create animated films from scratch. As I formerly mentioned, I have been conducting informal one-on-one conversation lessons with preschooler/primary school pupil. I have C2 English level certificate and working towards B2 in Spanish.

I can cook basic meals (and more complex ones with a recipe), bake, keep the house clean and make sure everything goes as it should. I am a fast learner and up for a challenge on the way of acquisition of new skills.
