Beschreibung

Hi! I'm Marisa. I love to expand my horizons and open myself to different perspectives through traveling and experiencing other ways of life.
I yearn to be apart of a community, work with my hands, be surrounded by animals and nature, immerse myself in new cultures, and wake up everyday with a sense of purpose and connection to my environment and those around me. This is when my heart feels the most full.

Outside of Workaway and traveling, I love to hike, rock climb, practice yoga, swim, enjoy live music, bake, and spend time with my dog and friends.
My dream is to one day have a piece of land where I can home rescue animals and live self sustainably with those I love.

Hopefully we can meet and get to know each other in person!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I'm a hardworking person and love to learn and gain new knowledge and abilities. I've grown up with animals my whole life including horses, dogs, rabbits, geckos, etc and am very comfortable with animal care.
I have held many different service jobs meaning I know how to work with people and am able to take advice and feedback well! As well as lived in many communal spaces through Workaway, Couchsurfing, hostels, having housemates, and am very used to keeping things clean and pulling my fair share of tasks!
I've had multiple volunteer opportunities now, and have gained a lot of confidence in physical labor and landscaping. Whatever task you have for me, I would love to tackle it and learn new skills. If you are willing to teach me, I will meet you with the same energy and enthusiasm!
