We're visiting friends in southern Europe during summer 2026 and would love to spend time aboard as well. Interested in sailing, meeting locals, and speaking French and Spanish :)

Hi there! We’re Thayná and Giovanna, 2 friends looking to spend some time abroad through meaningful exchanges :)

What we offer:

Thayná runs a small guesthouse back home, so she knows exactly how to make people feel welcome. After spending a year volunteering abroad (everything from deep cleaning to marketing and childcare), she’s learned that adaptability is the ultimate superpower. She speaks Portuguese, English, and Spanish, and is currently brushing up on her French (ce serait un vrai plus de pouvoir pratiquer mon français). She also holds a Brazilian Skipper License and loves the sea. She’s dreaming of life aboard a sailboat, but is just as happy tending to a garden or managing a community space on land.

Giovanna works remotely and brings a background in customer service and enablement, which means she’s organized, clear in communication, and comfortable navigating different social dynamics. She speaks Portuguese and English. Gi is an avid reader and a keen eye for content creation, so if your project needs a fresh perspective on social media or storytelling, she’s your person. She values independence but thrives in good company, always mindful of the balance between socializing and quiet time.

Was noch ...

We travel around Brazil as much as possible, and we've also been to Argentina, Spain, Portugal, France, Italy (all roads lead to Rome and whatnot), Germany, Turkey, the UK, and more. We enjoy making friends, and trying good food. Every new place feel like a second home!
