Hey there! I’m Teagan, a marine biology grad from Canada, currently taking a bit of a pause before starting my Master’s. I previously studied whales and worked on marine research projects, and the ocean is definitely where I feel most at home.

Right now, I’m hoping to build more hands-on skills, especially sailing and diving, before heading back into research. I want to really understand the ocean from the inside out, not just academically but practically too. I’m a fast learner, happy to help with whatever’s needed, and genuinely excited to learn from people with experience on the water.

Alongside my science background, I’ve also volunteered as a private cook across Canada and in New York City. Food has always been one of my favourite ways to connect with people. I love how food and language can bring people together.

I’m adaptable, easygoing, and not afraid of hard work. Whether it’s helping onboard, cooking for the crew, cleaning, organizing, or just being an extra set of hands, I’m happy to jump in and contribute.

In my free time, I love photography, volleyball, and oil painting; anything creative or outdoors makes me happy.

Education
I have a Bachelor's of Science in Marine Biology.
I involved myself in clubs that allowed me to hone my skills in event planning, party promoting, and community involvement!

Travel experience
I've travelled all over North America. I especially loved taking the train across the country on several occasions, seeing the beautiful landscapes of Canada and the US.
Now I'm ready to take my love for connecting with travelers and locals to Europe!

Student cooperative housing organization - I cooked and cleaned for 15+ people weekly and loved every part of being involved in the community.
