Beschreibung

I'm a trained chef and former bed and breakfast owner who now has the time to give back to the world while seeing the world. While new to Workaway, I am a life-long volunteer, most recently at a Buddhist Center. I am a natural caregiver, a devoted friend, thirsty student of knowledge and wisdom, and skilled problem solver. I've raised two great kids and love children, am comfortable with and loving toward all animals, and have a special gift with our elders. I can outwork those half my age and am a healthy, curious, engaged, progressive, non-judgmental human who respects others. I recognize the gifts of maturity as patience, dedication, self-expression and curiousity. I am happiest when I am deeply engaged, whether in work or conversation, and when I'm feeding others.

I am a chef who owned a five-star bed and breakfast in the Hudson Valley, and I excel at everything related: cooking and baking, home maintenance, interior design, gardening, light repair, and taking good care of guests. I am an excellent writer and communicator from my prior experience in publishing and public relations. I like hard work and never leaves a task unfinished. I can work independently (and not ask a thousand questions) or well in a team. I am proactive, artistic, creative, spiritual and an intuitive nurturer. I hope I can bring these skills to your home or project.

Was noch ...

I recently sold my business and now have the time to travel and meet others around the world. I love theater, books, creating art and seeing it in museums and would love to learn the cuisine of your region to add to my culinary repetoire. I'm play Scrabble and hope to learn Bridge and Mah Johng. I work well independently, with others and also have a lot of management experience and would be happy to lead a team if that is what you need. I'm easy going but determined, non-judgmental, curious and kind.
