My name is Stiofán (Irish) or Stephen, I'm Irish and I'm 32 years old.

I am a Spanish language teacher in Galway, Ireland (Nov 2020 - June 2025) and I am currently on a career break and looking to explore the world!

I studied a degree in Applied Languages (Irish/ Spanish/ French with some TEFL) in the University of Limerick and have a Masters of Education in Spanish and French.

I love to make people laugh, learn different languages and play a few tunes with my guitar or ukelele to get the crowd going. Also love a bit of freestyle or Irish céilí dancing, tis the best craic (Irish word for fun, not the other stuff)!

I wanna try and meet as many people as possible during my trip as what is a true journey without new friends and I'm more than happy to share my life experience, humour and skills with just about anyone who's interested.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I've been a tour guide in Ireland with my university society, UL International Society, for over 2 years having brought 1000s of students all around Ireland so I've helped to plan, budget, sign-up and lead on over 40 trips with the largest one bringing around 400 students to Dublin for St. Patrick's Day.

I studied Applied Languages (Irish, French, Spanish and a TEFL course) for my Bachelors and then a 2-year post grad to teach French and Spanish. I've taught English in Argentina for 4 months and have experience teaching English, French and Spanish in Ireland.

I've worked in different jobs of construction and landscaping with my Dad and uncles over many years so while I'm not an expert at any one thing, I have some experience with manual labour and some stages of building a house.
I have experience in video editing (iMovie) from doing college assignments and some promo videos for UL International Society.

I also play guitar, sing and do some dancing if that can be included

One fun fact about me . . . I'm what in Ireland we call a 'pioneer' so I've never drunk alcohol in my life.
