Hi everyone, it's Siria here🏵️.
I am 22 years old and I live in Italy. Since I was little I've always felt very close to nature and over time I developed a very deep sensitivity to animals and great awareness for the environment🌱. In the last years I also started travelling more often, I went abroad for a semester to study and I had volunteering experiences in Germany, France and Norway. Soon I will be graduated with a Bachelor in Social Sciences and my plan for this year is to spend my time around the world, to meet new cultures and to broaden the horizons. I love doing many things, from walking in nature, to spending time with friends, cooking delicious meals and anything music related. In fact I have a high school education in music, especially piano and violin. I am always up for an adventure, whether it's hiking, swimming in the river or stargazing.

Was könntest du arbeiten?
Volounteering in farms is not new to me since I already had this kind of experience with WWOOF and Workaway. I learnt how to cultivate tomato plants, harvest vegetables and planting seeds but also taking care of vegetables' beds, weeding and looking after chickens. I have experience in teaching Italian language and music to kids, especially piano lessons and music reading. I would also say I'm a great cook, I love to create new recipes all of them vegeterian/vegan; my signature dish is carrot cake and pizza!!

Staying at this place was such an enriching experience. Mae Nai and Pantila are the best hosts, they made us feel at home by creating a harmonious atmosphere.

I spent 1 month here and my experience was wonderful. The projects are many and you can choose where you want contribute. I recommend to come up with ideas because sometimes there is no detailed program of the tasks. If you find your balance, your time there will be special. We had Siria and her two friends stay with us for close to 3 weeks, and experienced them as friendly, positive and optimistic.
They were also willing to help my parents on a few of their work days, which I am grateful for.

staying at the farm was such a pleasure, my friends and I stayed there for a little bit less than three weeks and it was an enriching time. we learnt about permaculture, mainly the tasks were taking care of the plants and the chickens, harvesting vegetables and berries and preparing the veggies beds for winter.
