Hi there :)
I’m Hannah, 24, from Germany, and I just recently finished my bachelor’s degree in English and Japanese Studies. I’ve used workaway a few years back, after finishing high school to travel Ireland for a few months, but Covid cut that trip a bit short. So, now I would like to catch up on what I didn’t get to finish back then. I absolutely loved the last time I was in Ireland and wanted to see a bit more of the country, before moving on to visit some other countries in Europe. I always liked getting to see other parts of the world, meeting new people, learning new things. During my bachelor’s, I did an exchange year at a Japanese University, and it was an unforgettable experience. I met lots of amazing people and traveled to beautiful places. So, before starting either a master’s degree or finding a job back home, I want to take the time to travel some more and make some new memories :)

I'm always looking to improve my English^^ While I speak it pretty well, you're never truly done learning a language, so, looking forward to getting back in the groove of speaking it on a daily basis. Besides that, I'd love to improve my Japanese as well - though that probably has to wait for my next trip to Japan. But should the possibility arise to practice my Japanese while traveling in Europe, I'm here for it^^

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Overall, I’m reliable, organized, creative, and always keen to learn new skills and do the work :) My time in Japan taught me even more to be independent and keep a cool head when something goes wrong, since you never know what may happen. I’m pretty adaptable and quick to pick up new skills. I have some skills and experience in housekeeping, hospitality, general chores around the house, and babysitting.

Was noch ...

I love dancing, playing board games, watching movies and TV shows, and spending time with friends and family. During my time at university, I’ve participated in some West Coast Swing classes, as well as Disco Fox and when I was part of a youth group as a teenager, we had a dance workshop there as well. For two years, I also did Line Dancing which I really enjoyed and might pick up in the future again :)
I love music - I grew up with a family who shares a love for music and music was almost always playing in the house while I grew up^^ When doing tasks, taking a walk, riding a train - music is the best companion. I am quite fond of musicals, some of my favourites are Hamilton or Six and my last obsession was Epic - The Musical. Besides that, my music taste is quite varied - I guess whatever catches my interest at the time ;) So, be warned - you'll definitely be catching me breaking out singing at the most random times ;)
My love for music is one of the reasons I enjoyed Ireland so much the last time I was there. I absolutely loved that it was so common to have live music in pubs and hope that hasn't changed after Covid.
I also like to paint and draw in my free time or read a good book while drinking a nice cup of coffee. I enjoy being out in nature and usually prefer exploring the rural areas over the busy city life.
