Beschreibung

I am a New Zealander living in Spain for 2025. I have all sorts of skills and passions to offer including gardening, child care, building and infinite creativity! I have been living with my husband and two daughters, 10 and 13 in Andalusia, Spain since February this year.

Over summer we have been travelling around Northern Spain, and France and now we are heading towards Portugal, looking to make connections, explore this beautiful part of the world and contribute to communities and the environment, peoples' dreams and projects.

We are very handy, motivated and easy going, we love music, the arts and nature. We have renovated our own home in New Zealand, where we also have organic gardens (using hugelkultur) and orchard. Our daughters both enjoy the company other young people, and are great little child minders!

I am a writer and the founder of a community arts centre and platform for community connection in my hometown, so have experience with organising events, building a website, social media platforms etc. My husband Matty is a Jack of All Trades, and enjoys building things, often from recycled materials, working with wood and metal. We have been living in Andalusia for the first part of this year, with our daughters attending Spanish schools and Matty and I attending to our artistic projects. For this last part of our journey, until we head back to Aotearoa, New Zealand in November we are so keen to connect with some other families doing life a bit differently, get stuck into some projects, get our hands dirty, learn and share our skills!

We love a good laugh and are always up for an adventure!
