I'm new to traveling abroad but healthily nervous and excited! I have just come out of a year of art school here in Canada, and decided that I would like to spend this next year seeing and meeting new places and people. I hope to spend lots of time outside, learn new things, make some art, and some friends :0

I have always been really interested in learning languages! I have been living in Montreal and was working slowly on speaking quebecois but I would love to narrow in on these efforts more and commit to learning french. I have too many funny french speaking friends in my life to continue to not understand their silliness in all the languages they speak.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Most of my work in the past few years has come from managing the kitchen at a whitewater kayaking and canoeing school. I love cooking tasty Vegetarian and Vegan food! Though I am happy and comfortable cooking a variety of different meats as well, and if I am cooking I would be happy to accommodate many different kinds of diets and have a lot of experience doing this. I also love to bake! This workplace has also developed my love of the water and whitewater paddling as a lucky bonus to a job I already enjoyed. Living close to water is very special to me. Rambling whilst writing is also a skill of mine.

I have worked with harvesting local healing herbs and plants here in Ontario for a small skincare business, and although I am at the very intro stage of learning about this I am super eager to know more! I have also done some farming and gardening. Mostly through workaway or helping out on friends' farms/projects.

I really like spending time with kids and have worked taking care of children a lot in the past, this is one of the things I have missed since pre-pandemic. I am very patient and calm and love to play!

I am in the middle of a fine arts degree and love to paint, draw, and do crafts of pretty well any kind. I would be super excited to help with any home projects you may have :) I really like working outside and have a lot of experience living outside as well. I am very adaptable and a very hard worker and love to learn new things. I am comfortable with the process of learning and love that stage when things are new and unknown

Was noch ...

I love working and developing things together as a community. Whilst living in the city, I would often put together little craft nights at my home so we could all come together and collage/mache/knit/sing. Continuing to do things like this on any scale would be wonderful. Could be painting or singing or writing, it's all good!
