Beschreibung

I am a 60 yrs young lady,I am a teacher of languages and a keen traveller. I was born and grew up in Sicily, but i left when I was 26. Since then i have lived, worked and travelled in UK, Spain, Holland, South America, USA and West Africa including the Sahara area and Mauritania.

I have a passion for plants,animals and nature, and have worked both as a gardener in Sicily and a caretaker in an animal shelter in northern Spain. I am currenty helping out as a volunteer at the local dog shelter
I speak english,spanish,french, italian and basic german, I am currently studying arabic too.

I am very much made for hard work, the more i move the better i feel, the better i sleep and the healthier i keep. Whether it's in the fields or looking after animals, or carrying loaded wheelbarrows from one point to another, that's my cup of tea.

I also enjoy handcrafts and recycling: i make new articles from old or broken jewelry or bags or clothes,depending on the material available.

I love sport and i like walking,cycling,dancing,hula hoop,yoga tracking and any outdoor activity. I can't swim, though, nor ski.

I am easygoing,open,i feel at home in a multilanguage environment,i love music and happy people. On the other hand, i do not feel too comfortable when there are a lot of people around me, since i find it energy-consuming for little authentic communication. I do enjoy working together with others though, and sharing tasks and finding solutions together.
Most of all, i deeply enjoy animal company, now more than ever.

I am reliable, reasponsible, i can work independently once i know the type of work or project that's to be carried out.

Shortage of water, lack of comforts or simple food are not a problem to me, although i am not very good at getting up at 5 every morning, i prefer slow mornings: i am normally ready to roll around 8am.
My ideal natural habitat is the desert.

I like to work with leather: i can make pouches, bags and necklaces from new or recycled material; I make decorative mobiles from plastic or other recycled material; i am pretty good at hula hoop-i have been training for over 7 years; i like to play backgammon and tric trac; I am currently learning Arabic ; I can use a sewing machine for mending or transforming clothes; I am also a translator for Law , Commercial and Tourism subjects.
