Hello! My name is Miriam Raquel (but you can call me Raquel), and I’m a Brazilian audiovisual producer, cultural communicator, and heritage advocate with over 10 years of experience creating meaningful projects that connect people, stories, and places.
My journey has taken me from national TV studios in São Paulo to remote indigenous territories in Southern Brazil, where I’ve led creative workshops and co-produced documentaries with local communities. I specialize in storytelling, education, and cultural preservation, using tools like video, photography, sound mapping, and participatory art.
I’m passionate about intercultural exchange and strongly believe in the power of listening, learning, and sharing through collaborative work. Whether I'm designing an educational project, filming a short documentary, or simply supporting daily tasks, I always bring creativity, empathy, and care.

I’m also a curious soul who loves cooking with seasonal ingredients, listening to local music, and learning languages (currently brushing up on my Romanian basics!). I have a strong interest in traditional ecological knowledge, especially related to food, plants, and sound.
I enjoy hiking, taking soundwalks in nature, collecting stories, and making homemade herbal teas or jams when possible. I'm also a big fan of meaningful conversations around a fire, live music sessions, and collaborative creative projects. I’ve led workshops in music, storytelling and audiovisual production — and I’d be happy to contribute with those skills if it aligns with your project!
