Beschreibung

Hey, I'm Philipp, 29 years old and born and raised in the wonderful city Bremen in the northern of Germany, where I'm still living.
I would describe myself as an active adventurous down-to-earth person. Most of the time I'm a happy-go-lucky sunshine (thanks workaway for that suggestion :D)
I'm motivated a lot when I can help/support people and also when I'm very curious about a specific topic. But this is also a part of my goal, to understand myself better, to make experiences with different people and to get in the end a better feeling of what really motivates me inside.
I'm looking for contact and exchange with people being theirself, living their life with all the good and bad, with everything what comes with being a human on this wonderful planet earth.
I like to run (trails), to cycle, to go for walks, to camp and so on - I like to be outside in the nature, preferably the mountains a lot!
I'm interested in a lot of different scientific topics and technical things and since a few years more and more open and curious about other not so technical topics, where it's not all about false and true.
In the past years I worked at the University as an IT specialist for system integration. (administrative staff, not scientific)
I quit my job by the end of last year and I'm now on my journey.

This is my first workaway experience, my first big journey (haven't been out of Europe yet) and I'm really looking forward to it!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

- Very good technical skills especially in the overall field of IT (job related)
- able to do "hard" physical labor
- Repairing stuff (Bicycles, Laptops, washing machines and so on - I like to understand how technic works and to fix it, if necessary)
- Upcycling
- Good in seeing a big pciture with all its details and subconsciously thinking of how to improve things.
- Safe handling of allmost all tools when it comes to maintaining and building
