I am from southeast Michigan and am incredibly interested in making new connections, spending as much time outside as possible, and learning! I'm open to lending a hand and am willing to try any work!

Beschreibung

I am a 20 year old college student looking for new experiences, connections, and adventures between classes! I'm open to learning as much as possible with others passionate about the natural world.

In my free time I enjoy teaching myself guitar, crafting and working with my hands, hiking/backpacking/camping, and cultivating meaningful relationships with the people around me. I live in a very communal home and spend much of my time with others of similar interests but on various life journeys. I hope to find a host whom I can help with any variety of tasks and projects and share stories, lessons, and aspirations.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I am very comfortable working long days outside. I spent a month last summer volunteering as part of a "crew of the willing" for a festival volunteer workforce. The team helped to manage 300 acres of property, and jobs included moving and stacking firewood, handling and organizing tools and equipment, transporting things (tables, tents, plumbing, refrigerators, stoves, horse mats, you name it), trail maintenance, invasive species removal, and other general manual labor activities. I also have some gardening and animal care experience (goats, chickens, ducks, beekeeping) from my family's small homestead. I have had an introduction to holistic wellness and medicinal plants and am eager to learn more!

I am open to spiritual communities! I do not identify with any one established belief system, but do feel a deep connection to the earth and her beauty. I like to think of myself as becoming more "in-tune" as I learn and grow from her and others!

  Nope! Happy to eat anything! Was vegetarian for many years but recently have opened back up to local and ethically-raised meats! The only other thing is that I am not particularly a fan of mushrooms ;)
