Beschreibung

Hello,

My name is Oliver. I am 26 years old and I come from a converted farm in the seaside town of Scarborough, UK. :)

By trade I am a commercial Fire Alarm Electrician, I have done this since leaving school in 2014.

I did my first workaway experience in 2018 where I travelled through Scandinavia and central Europe. I was working in many places doing many jobs, from been a driver in a Norwegian hotel, a groundskeeper in a centre in Denmark, olive picking in Italy and farm work in Germany!

In 2019 I worked in a ski resort in France as a kitchen assistant and driver before working for a charity rebuilding destroyed homes (from hurricanes) in Texas USA.

My latest trip was Ukraine, from May 2022 to November 2022 I was working in Ukraine doing many humanitarian aid related jobs such as moving refugees, moving aid over the border, working in aid warehouses and moving vehicles. Throughout 2023, I have been going back over there driving around western reporters documenting war crimes and arranging interviews. I did this along side my work in the UK.

My next adventure is the USA, I am coming to the USA in February 2024 and will be crossing the span of the country over 3 months until May.

I like camping, the outdoors, cars, trying new foods, hiking and animals. I enjoy visiting new places and learning different cultures and ways of life. I travel for the experience of working in other countries and to have a great adventure meeting new people.
