Beschreibung

I'm Nora and I come from an island on the northern norwegian coast. I grew up seeing nature as a playground and source of adventure, and as the years passed also something that must be protected. Now that my dreams of adventure has grown older and more ambitious, I have found myself wanting to find more communties like the one I grew up in , around the globe. People that work and live together with forests, oceans and mountains, who take care of each other and who love the nature we all are a part of. That's what's most important to me.
Following curiosity is another passion of mine, and might claim that I've got an "unquenchable thirst for knowledge".. What is traditional in this particular place, and why? How are we different, and more importantly, how are we alike? The list goes on. And experience beats books most of the time.
Last but not least, I believe we as travellers/backpackers/nomads owe it to the world to contribute to the pleaces we stay, in different ways. And more than that, helping others is enjoyable and meaningful, and a natural part of life. I believe "making a difference" can be done in lots of ways. While travelling I have the most honest intention to keep a humble and open mind, to remember that we all see the world from our unique point of view that is shaped by our surroundings. Was könntest du arbeiten?

I have done a lot of different work; as a school- and kindergarden-assistant, museum guide, bartender, meat packer, waitress, nurse assistant and at a health food store ++. Safe to say I see myself as very versatile and good at learning new things, always up for a challenge;) On our family farm I have grown up sowing, weeding and taking care of organic vegetables and doing all sorts of maintainance work such as painting, roof fixing, etc. I can milk cows and look after cats, dogs, chickens, sheep, pigs or any other animal that you might have! Music is important to me, I play guitar, piano, trumpet, but my strength is probably singing. Creativity and detail oriented work are the areas where I do best, but I'm a good assistant as well, Just let me know what you need and I will help you get it!
