Beschreibung
Hey there, I am Milas, 27 years old, from Germany. I've just finished my studies in English and IT at university. I live in Dresden but grew up in Bremen until I moved here.
I am home right now and looking for some meaningful Workaway experiences when I'm off from work.
In 2023, I travelled around Europe for a few months. I worked at a hostel in Ireland for six weeks and on a vegetable/dairy farm for another three. A year later, I had another lovely Workaway experience in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy. These experiences were incredible and I learned a lot! I also taught English in northern China for four months when I was only 19, and studied the language there for a while as well.
I really love traveling and always go for hikes everywhere. Being someplace new and feeling a sense of adventure is incredible and meeting new people abroad is very fulfilling as well. I am a very social person who gets excited easily, and I enjoy trying out new skills and activities.
I also love painting, reading, playing piano, cooking & baking, gardening, learning languages, and I generally enjoy taking care of things, such as the household, decorations, or plants and animals.
Learning new things is exciting and super interesting!
I speak German and English fluently, I learned some Japanese, I still know a bit of Chinese, and currently I'm studying French! And I'm always happy to learn more :)

Was könntest du arbeiten?
I have always been good at housekeeping and basic maintenance, and am quite experienced in the kitchen. I have done gardening outsides often and worked on a farm, where I mostly planted seeds, harvested crops, and milked the cows.
I adore animals and take care of my family's dog regularly.
As I am studying to become a teacher, I have a lot of experience with children of all ages. I have had several internships and also taught English for a few months in China. As my second subject for the teacher program is computer science, I have a fair knowledge of computers and IT, but of course am still learning.
I am very social, open and polite, so I do well at any tasks that require communication skills. I worked in a hostel before and have had several part time jobs at events, e.g. the Christmas Market here in Dresden, so I have a lot of experience in the service field.
