Hi, I'm Nietzsche - a world traveler (20+ countries) and polyglot of 8 languages. I grew up in Asia and Europe, and am now exploring North America more.

Why I travel: To learn about other cultures and stay humble. I value giving back to the local community, whether that's helping with their homes, yard work, farms or gardens. Also available to help with kids and teach languages.

Hobbies: Being in nature keeps me grounded, I'm an outdoors person: cycling, yoga, swimming, camping and backpacking. When I'm not outside you can find me reading, sketching (charcoal and pens are my favourite mediums) and cooking. I'm a scientist / researcher by training so I also enjoy a good discussion or debate.

What to expect if we live together: I enjoy clean and organised spaces, and am happy to help folks set up a system in the house. Happy to do some of the cooking and try new foods. I enjoy physical work and being outdoors, so I've helped to set up fences, irrigation systems, gardening, yard work, woodwork etc.
While I enjoy socialising, I'm also enjoy my own solo time. In the early mornings and evenings, I appreciate having solo time for yoga and reading.

Was noch ...

I love spending time in nature: hiking, swimming, camping. While I am an active person who loves sports, I also value my solo time and respect personal space of others.
Workaway has allowed me to meet people from various places. One of my most memorable workaways was 2 weeks on a farm in Catalunya. We improved the irrigation, planted seeds, harvested vegetables, and looked after both the goats and chickens. I also helped with cooking and cleaning.
Separately, I have experiencing caring /rehabilitating injured wild animals, once they are well we set them free again. I did this for a year in the Netherlands.
Fun things: going to local festivals, learning the local language, sketching (charcoal/pen), hiking, cycling
