Beschreibung

My name is Felicia and come from a small town in Sweden, around an hour from Gothenburg. I grew up with my parents and two sisters, whom I am very close with. I also have a small but tight friend group who I share and do everything with. With both my family and friends I love doing small things as much as the big; taking a walk or planning a big party.

What I also love is animals and from a very young age I have always known that I want to work with them. Through my college years (2012-2015) I studied animal care with the focus on the medicinal side of it and now I am an Animal Technician. The school I went to had lots of internships offered, giving me great experiences, for example I chose to intern at a zoo, animal stores and clinics. A lot of us students lived on campus the school offered, which taught me how to share space and be responsible more than living at home at that age could.

I got a dog as well, her name is Sansa and she is a mixed breed with Pomeranian and Chihuahua. The small size does not make her justice. She is very intelligent and brave. She has a great nose for searching and great patience in learning something new. I take great pride in how I take care of her. She will unfortunatly be staying home with my parents.

On to my other hobbies and interests. I like to spend time at the gym, reading and watching movies/TV-series, and I love hiking! When I hang out with my friends there are more often than not a boardgame-night with wine and dinner.

I have also a life long dream of living sustainable. Whether it is learning how to reuse many things or grow my own garden I want to learn it all.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I have worked in a factory most of my adult life, about nine years. From this experince I am very good at taking initative, problem solving and working with others, not to say that I'm less good in being an independent worker because I am. :)

For workaway experience I was at an animal rescue on Ireland. Been there for almost nine months and have learn so much about animal handling, espescially pigs!
Another one in Italy where I did some general work on the host house like painting walls and paved an outdoor area.
