We are interested in language exchange, cultural exchange, housesitting, and traveling.

Beschreibung

Hello! We are Syeda and Luciano from the USA, born and raised. We joined workaway to meet new people, teach and learn from others, and create lasting relationships.

We love all sorts of things ranging from arts, music, literature, film, and writing to cooking, learning languages, philosophizing, traveling, gardening, crafts, sports, yoga, meditation... and so on. Open to experiencing the world and all of its marvels, we bring with us a willingness to learn and share with others.

This isn't our first rodeo. We have backpacked through 40+ countries, working on farms and homesteads and teaching in English schools along the way.

Syeda is an English teacher by trade and Luciano is a guitar instructor and writer. We are 29 and 27 years of age, and happily married! We don't smoke and try to live a healthy lifestyle, but we do believe moderation in moderation is key. We are always open to a fun time with other people as a way of bonding. We don't have any dietary restrictions and are always excited to try new foods.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Syeda works as a professional English tutor, while Luciano teaches guitar and has a degree in Guitar Studies from Berklee College of Music. We’re both TEFL-certified to teach English and enjoy helping others learn. Luciano has experience with creative writing, storytelling, and a variety of artistic skills including drawing and painting. Syeda is skilled in cooking, plant care, DIY crafts, and organization. We’ve both taken part in eco-projects involving gardening, basic carpentry, and sustainable building. We also have some experience with animal care and shepherding, and we’re comfortable taking on a wide range of practical and creative tasks.
