Beschreibung

My name is Miguel. I am a dual citizen of Spain and the US and fluent in both English and Spanish. I strongly believe in finding community with those around you wherever you go, which is why I was excited to find the WorkAway program.
I am passionate about music; I love animals and nature. Hiking, exploring or simply photosynthesizing are some of my favorite pastimes along with drumming, reading, finding good food, or just relaxing.
I like to think I have an uplifting and calming energy, or so my friends say. I always want to make sure those around me are happy and confident. I try to live in harmony with everyone (as much as possible) and I do my best to live my life according to the four agreements (great read).
I really want to travel and meet new people from all over as I do some soul searching of my own. My current goal is to stay in France to get immersed in the culture and the language and so I can explore my love for travel.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I graduated from Suffolk University with an Advertising Major and a minor in Global Marketing. During my time at college I worked an office job where we helped students and clubs host/find events on campus, I also had a couple internships with an advertising firm and a start up company. During the summers, I had a job landscaping in Florida and picked up a lot of new skills from the experience. My most recent endeavor has been serving at a fine dining Spanish restaurant called "the Columbia" in Florida. I consider myself a bit of a jack of all trades as I think I'm a good learner as I'm very goal-driven.
Some of my other skills are yardwork, baking, cooking, ... I've also done language tutoring and am currently getting my TEFL certificate. I am fluent in English and Spanish and have an intermediate level (B1) in French but would like to immerse myself in hopes of becoming fluent.

Was noch ...

I'm a big fan of word games, board games, card games, outdoor time, hammocking, baking, reading, chess... One of my biggest passions in life is music. I am always looking for new music to listen to, I always want to share music, I love talking about music, and I love making music. I mainly drum but play a little bass and guitar. I also had a radio show during college which was a very fun project for me.
