Hi I’m Meri. I’m 19 years old and I just finished school. Now I’m taking a gap year to explore Central and South America and support organisations for nature and local life. I like to learn more about a sustainable lifestyle, nature and other cultures.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I am pretty good at cooking, including vegetarian and vegan meals. Besides that I can fix simple things around houses and I have basic knowledge about planting seeds.
I can do hard physical work because I exercise a lot in my free time, which gives me enough stamina and strength.
I would also say that I get along very well with most people and I’m comfortable working with animals too.
Lastly I speak four languages (german, spanish, english and swedish), which allows me to communicate easily and also to share and teach them if needed.

If it’s possible I’d really like to do hikes/trail runs around Central and South America. That’s something I’m really interested in.

Vom Workawayer () für Host (Experience my beachfront home ...)

I really had the best time at Rich’s. His home is beautiful! Every morning I woke up to a beautiful beach and ocean. I especially enjoyed the sunrises and sunsets. They were stunning!

This was my first workaway experience and I loved it. Julie is really the nicest person and her dogs are super cute.
