Beschreibung

We are an English couple in our mid twenties, we have been together for ten years now and felt like this year was the right time to take a career break to travel around South East Asia (an area we fell in love with) and immerse ourselves in new cultures and experiences.
Prior to travelling we had both been working corporate jobs since 2021 following obtaining our degrees from university. Kieran has a degree in accounting and finance and pursued work in this sector, while Megan has a degree in mathematics and pursued a career in merchandising.

Back in England we lived social outgoing lives and shared our time with friends, family and pets.
We enjoy live music shows and love sports, Kieran plays football and padel, while the two of us enjoy swimming, hiking and cycling regularly.
On slower days we enjoy playing puzzle games such as sudoku.
We have loved our experience of travelling so far but do miss our 2yr old dog Layla and 5yr old Niece.
We are both animal and children lovers and would relish the opportunity to experience authentic local culture while creating bonds with a family and supporting the community where possible.
We are particularly interested in working with children and sharing our language and experiences, and would also like to learn about other languages and experiences.

We have been away since the start of September, we are currently in Laos and moving onto Thailand in a couple of weeks where we plan to spend at least a couple of months. It’s a country we have visited before and absolutely loved everything about it, the culture, the food, the history and scenery.
We would love to get an understanding of day to day life there and anything learned along the way would be amazing.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

We are both British nationals so native speaker of English.
We have both obtained degrees from UK universities, Kieran in accounting and finance & Megan in mathematics.
Both of us have career experience of around 4 years in our respective fields, as we both have held corporate jobs since graduation in 2021.

Through our education and experiences professionally as well as through customer service part time work when younger we have an array of skills, namely analytical, problem solving, communication and a high level of computer software proficiency.
Both our roles involved a lot of spreadsheets and data.

We love food but admittedly aren’t great cooks, so would love to be able to develop this.

As mentioned we love animals and children and would also love to be able to be exposed to and interact with one of or both of these.
