Hallo! I'm Matilda from Germany.

I am a young traveler eager to explore the world and immerse myself in different cultures. My journey began with a year abroad, sparking a passion for venturing beyond my comfort zone—a passion that has only grown with every wild idea and curious adventure. I hope this spirit never fades!

My friends describe me as part chill golden retriever and part thrill-seeker, always chasing the next adrenaline rush. Personally, I think that’s a bit of an exaggeration — as long as there's good food involved, I'm happy!

I look forward to joining new communities, making great memories, and forging connections wherever I go. Meeting people from all walks of life excites me, and I'm just as keen to share my own experiences and skills as I am to learn from others.

I'm always happy to lend a hand, whether it's helping with gardening, preparing meals, or teaching languages. I have experience working in hospitality as a waitress, bartender, and barista, and I have regularly worked with children, which I've greatly enjoyed. While I am not a professional in crafts, I’ve assisted with gardening and maintenance, and I have a passion for photography and DIY projects.

I am motivated to learn Spanish, explore nature, and experience Central America's vibrant cultures. I am fluent in German and English, and I am always happy to share my knowledge. My goal is to meet new people, hear their stories, and help create a welcoming atmosphere—I'm always ready to contribute wherever I can. I love trying new things and am not afraid of hard work.

I have experience working in hospitality (e.g. working in a restaurant, as a barista, as cleaning staff, and on handicrafts).
I worked as a babysitter for two years and loved my kids.
I love working on projects and being part of a creative process. Contributing to DIY ideas or coming up with own solutions has been part of my life and I'd love to share my insights.
I grew up learning photography from my mom and soon started to enjoy capturing moments myself. I am no expert, but I can provide my existing knoledge and keep learning.

I can teach some german and share the culture.
I am currently working in a restaurant, thus am able to practice my skills, if needed.

I love playing card games (my favourite game is rommé or punch), hiking, dancing, long conversations, taking photos, trying new sports and activities, exploring places, percieveing food as an experience and laying in the sand :)
