Hi :)
My name is Marissa. I am originally from Winnipeg, Canada, but have spent the last several years both travelling periodically and living simply in a small beautiful surf town on the coast of Ecuador. It has been incredible to be able to connect with the ocean and the jungle simultaneously, learn first-hand about Ecuadorian culture, learn to speak Spanish fluently and become part of a really special community.
Since 2015 I have been teaching yoga full time in various locations throughout the Americas. When I am not teaching yoga I take on seasonal positions, where for a few months of the year, I work long hours outdoors (farms, gardens) under the hot sun, with my hands in the dirt, learning and developing new skills that align with my ever-changing and growing interests.
