¡Hola! Me llamo M o María.

Pleased to e-meet you! I am a cheerful, curious and energetic Spanish musical actress, writer and creative generalist.

As an ENFP personality type (in case you find typing fun), I love novelty, learning all sorts of things, trying new foods and having deep conversations.

I was born in Tenerife, Canary Islands and I've been fascinated with language learning and imagination from a young age .

WHAT I CAN HELP YOU WITH:

- Keeping your home clean, tidy and beautiful.

- Washing, ironing, taking good care of clothes.

- Grocery shopping and menu planning.

- Cooking (and uncooking), mostly plant-based but also Spanish "tortilla", baked goods and more: I trained as a chef and had a gourmet raw vegan restaurant in Madrid called Crucina.

- Babysitting, cooking for and playing with children: I’ve acted in a lot of children’s plays and spent significant time with my 4 year-old niece and my 2 other older niece and nephew (now 10 and 12) doing crafts, singing or practising drawing letters.

I feel there’s a lot to learn from children.

- Practising and learning languages: Spanish, English, French, Portuguese, German, Dutch, Catalan, Hungarian and Greek: I’ve lived in over 8 countries and traveled extensively.

I was a conference interpreter and a translator for years . Currently I edit AI content and regularly attend and speak at Polyglot Events (last one: the Polyglot Gathering 2024 in Brno last May).

- Gardening: I am interested in growing food and in permaculture. I took up gardening in Tenerife last year. I know a bit about succulents and cacti and I am eager to learn more.

- Singing and acting, dancing, telling stories and coming up with movement games.

- Research, digital marketing, AI stuff: I am tech-oriented and love to share what I learn. I publish a Substack newsletter about creativity and innovation.

I am open, optimistic and a quick learner. With a sense of humour.
