Hi, I'm Kacper, 27yo from Poland who loves to travel and in September 2026 I quit my "normal" job to do so.

Mostly, I travel by hitchhiking, which is for me the best way to get to know people and cultures. I hitchhiked through 22 countries in Europe in 3 big journeys and a few small local ones. During my travels I love to stay at social hostels when I'm in cities or wildcamp somewhere in nature when I'm in more secluded areas. Can't decide what I like more, I think I like to spend time in nature, but I love hostels' vibes and people.

I just started my volunteering experience in January with working in the hostels in Genova and Dubrovnik. I'm a person who can adapt quickly, so I can basically do anything. I'm well organised person at my work, who always is looking for ways to improve processes. I love to work with others and celebrate good teamwork. If I contacted you, that means that I'm okay with the tasks you need me to do.

In my professional life I did quite a lot of different things. I started at a car rental company at airports and as a taxi driver. I gained some experience in customer service there and also yes, I love to drive. I had some short experience in bartending at festivals as well. Then I worked in wellknown swedish furniture company for 5 years. The diversity of the tasks there was amazing and I also had opportunity to change departments and jobs. I designed kitchen projects, worked warehouse logistics, led showroom rebuilds, assembled furniture, visited people's homes for inside research, was involved in commercial marketing. Finally, for last 2 years I was leading the team as a manager. Unfortunately, in the end this destroyed my work life balance and I needed a big change in my life after that.

I love geography, maps, roads, rivers etc. and I have an actual talent with these things and orienteering. If I see something on a map just once, I can remember and use it. If I was somewhere few years ago, even now I could still navigate there and show places on the map. I also like hiking in the mountains, riding a bike, going to football games or playing some darts.

Customer service & hospitality - extensive experience from car rental at airports, taxi driving, bartending at festivals, and 5 years at furniture store interacting with customers daily

Team leadership & organization - managed a team for 2 years, good at scheduling, planning tasks, improving processes, and keeping things running smoothly

Driving & transportation - love driving, license for 9 years, comfortable with any vehicle, don't mind long distances

Interior design & furniture assembly - designed kitchen projects for customers, useful skills also in my own life, assembled hundreds of pieces of furniture, comfortable with basic tools

Navigation & orienteering - talent with maps, geography, can quickly memorize routes, navigate unfamiliar areas, good orienteer in nature and cities

Languages - Polish (native), English (fluent), I understand some Slavic languages with similar words to Polish, also I can read Cirillic
