Hello!
We are Victoria and Lucas, we are both 27 years old and we live together in Lille (in Northern France).
We are planning a two-month trip, during which we would love to spend a few weeks in a Workaway.
This will be a completely new experience for us, as it will be our first time as workawayers !

This way of traveling seems perfect for us: sharing with locals, learning about a new culture and new skills, and helping to build or develop a project. So we would be delighted to have you join us for what is likely to be an unforgettable experience.

As for me (Lucas), I grew up in Northern France, surrounded by fields and forests, before moving to the city where I have been working in film and advertising for several years. I love nature and the sports you can do there, DIY projects, creating all sorts of things, cooking, and eating what I've cooked. I have many skills, I excel in a few, but I think above all, I'm very adaptable, and that's perhaps where I truly shine.

I'm Victoria, I'm 27 years old, and I'm French. Rather a homebody and quite cerebral in my daily life, I'm eager to do a Workaway not only to roll up my sleeves and experience a wild adventure but, above all, to travel in a completely new way!
I've always lived in France and have only traveled within Europe, and for short periods. I can't wait to travel with Lucas and discover the vast landscapes of Canada. I learn quickly, I'm curious, and I love hearing the stories of the people I meet.

Bonjour !
Nous sommes Victoria et Lucas, nous avons tous les deux 27 ans et nous vivons ensemble à Lille (dans le Nord de la France).
Nous avons prévu un voyage de deux mois, durant lequel nous aimerions beaucoup passer quelques semaines en workaway.
Cette expérience sera des plus inédites puisque notre première en workaway !
Ce mode de voyage semble nous correspondre en tout point : le partage avec les locaux, l’apprentissage d’une nouvelle culture, de nouvelles compétences, l’aide dans la construction ou le développement d’un projet.
Alors nous serions ravis de pouvoir compter parmi vous pendant un moment qui risque de devenir pour nous inoubliable.

Pour ma part (Lucas), j’ai grandi dans le Nord de la France, entre champs et forêt que j’ai quitté pour la ville où je travaille dans le cinéma et la publicité depuis plusieurs années. J’aime la nature et les sports qu’on peut y pratiquer, bricoler, créer toute sorte de choses, cuisiner et manger ce que j’ai cuisiné. J’ai plein de compétences, j’excelle dans peu mais je pense surtout que je sais très bien m’adapter et c’est peut-être bien en ça que j’excelle.

Je suis Victoria, j'ai 27 ans et je suis française.
Plutôt casanière et cérébrale dans la vie de tous les jours, j'ai envie de faire un workaway non seulement pour retrousser mes manches et vivre une aventure folle mais surtout pour voyager de manière inédite !
J'ai toujours habité en France et je n'ai voyagé qu'en Europe et pour des courtes durées. J'ai hâte de voyager avec Lucas et de découvrir les grandes étendues du Canada.
J'apprends vite, je suis curieuse et j'aime entendre les histoires des personnes que je rencontre.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

It's hard to find skills, so we decided to talk a little more about our lifestyle:
- We both grew up in the countryside and therefore learned to get our hands dirty (gardening, chopping wood, picking cherries, fixing things...),
- We both love to cook, host people at home, and organize events for our loved ones,
- We enjoy outdoor activities (hiking, cycling, camping, walks, gathering chestnuts, quad biking, scuba-diving),
- I, Victoria, played the flute for almost 10 years, and I would love to teach you some basics,
- I, Lucas, can create video/photo content, tinker with bicycles, and organize things.

Dur de trouver des compétences, alors nous avons plutôt décidé de parler un peu plus de notre manière de vivre :
- Nous avons tous les deux grandi en campagne et de ce fait nous avons appris à nous salir les mains (s'occuper du jardin, couper du bois, ramasser des cerises, réparer des choses...),
- Nous aimons tous les deux faire la cuisine, accueillir chez nous et organiser des événements pour nos proches,
- Nous aimons les activités en plein air (randonnée, vélo, bivouac, ballades, ramasser des châtaignes, faire du quad),
- Moi Victoria, j'ai fait de la flûte pendant près de 10 années, je serais ravie de pouvoir vous apprendre quelques bases,
- Moi Lucas, je peux créer du contenu vidéo/photo, bricoler des vélos et ranger/organiser des choses.
