I want to go to Ireland to immerse myself in its culture, improve my English, and fulfill my dream of playing music on its streets.

Beschreibung

I am a 20 year old guy who recently graduated in agricultural studies, and I’ve chosen to dedicate a year of my life to meaningful and formative experiences. I am passionate about music: I sing my own songs and play the guitar. I love animals, nature, and volunteering, and I enjoy challenging myself in contexts where I can be useful to others, growing as a person. I live in a small town where I’m actively involved in the social sphere: I volunteer, I’m a scout, and I attend cultural spaces and events. I’ve already worked far from home on farms and in mountain shelters, where I experienced moments of rare intensity in the silence of nature. This will be my first experience with Workaway, and I want to go to Ireland to immerse myself in its culture, improve my English, and play music in different settings. I want to embark on this journey because I feel the need to discover new realities, step out of my comfort zone, challenge myself, meet new people and ideas, and broaden my horizons.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

During my high school studies I learned both subjects related to my field of study (agriculture, animal husbandry, production and transformation of goods, environmental and land management) and traditional subjects, with a particular interest in the humanities and writing. I have improved my teamwork skills thanks to my scout experience and participation in a work camp with " Operazione Mato Grosso". During the summer I did several jobs: • In an assembly factory, I learned to perform manual tasks and to respect delivery times. • In shelters and alpine huts, I developed customer service skills, animal management, basic knowledge of cooking and bartender and how to keep spaces clean. My volunteer commitments in my hometown have helped me develop strong interpersonal and communication skills: I believe I am empathetic and able to communicate effectively. I consider myself patient, adaptable, curious and helpful. My passions, especially music, stimulate my creativity and my artistic abilities. The different work experiences I've had over the years have allowed me to develop different skills that I can't wait to put into practice during my journey as a Workawayer.

I am a very curious and active person with many hobbies and passions that I would like to share with you: I raise exotic animals (reptiles and birds), I love trekking and the mountains, I play music, sing, and write songs. I can ride horses, fish, and do archery. I am also a scout, do theater, and enjoy writing and creating.
