Hola! Soy Laura, una colombo-española recorriendo Colombia y reconectando con la tierrita después de casi 20 años viviendo en Europa.
Soy ingeniera de formación, pero estoy en pleno cambio de rumbo profesional, explorando caminos más prácticos y con más sentido, ojalá lejos de oficinas y pantallas. En los últimos años he estado vinculada a organizaciones sociales y proyectos sin ánimo de lucro, sobre todo en temas de empoderamiento de la mujer y derechos humanos. A la vez, he trabajado en cosas muy distintas: limpieza, hostelería, clases, ventas, atención al cliente… un poco de todo.
Me considero una persona proactiva y con facilidad para adaptarse...aprendo rápido y no tengo problema en ayudar donde haga falta. Ahora mismo me llaman mucho los trabajos manuales, la permacultura y la jardinería. Tengo ganas de aprender desde cero y meter las manos en la tierra.
También me apasiona la fotografía. Me gusta documentar personas, lugares y pequeños momentos del día a día, y si sirve para el proyecto, estaré encantada de ayudar creando contenido visual o capturando la vida del lugar.
Me motiva colaborar en proyectos con sentido, conocer gente y comunidades locales, compartir experiencias y aportar desde lo que sé (y desde lo que todavía estoy aprendiendo).

Hi! I'm Laura, a Colombo-Spanish currently traveling around Colombia and reconnecting with my homeland after almost 20 years living in Europe.
I'm trained as an engineer, but I'm in the middle of a career change, exploring more hands-on and meaningful paths, hopefully far from offices and screens. In recent years, I have been involved with social organizations and non-profit projects, mainly in the areas of women's empowerment and human rights. Althought, I have worked in many different roles: cleaning, hospitality, teaching, sales, customer service... a bit of everything.
I consider myself a proactive person who adapts easily... I learn quickly and I'm happy helping out wherever needed. Right now, I'm really drawn to manual labor, permaculture, and gardening. I'm eager to learn from scratch and get my hands dirty.
I am also passionate about photography. I like to document people, places, and small moments of everyday life, and if it serves the project, I would be happy to help by creating visual content or capturing the life around the place.
I’m motivated by projects with purpose, connecting with local communities, sharing experiences and contributing with my skills, energy and openness to learn.
