Hello, my name is Lilyrose!

I am 24 years old, originally from the United States (my mum is English and my dad is German so a little mix), and I am currently backpacking through Asia. I decided to leave the bi weekly paycheck job and apply my skills in new environments, with new projects. My goal is to do just that, travel, meet new people and immerse myself in different cultures before I return home in August. While I have previous experience volunteering abroad, this is my first time using Workaway, and I am excited to begin this new adventure.
I am eager to contribute in many areas that interest me, such as caring for children, helping animals, working in nature, art, construction and so on. I am very open-minded and enthusiastic about any opportunity that comes my way — I want to live the Workaway experience to the fullest :)

I speak English fluently and am currently learning Spanish and re learning German. I would love to improve my language skills while sharing my own language and culture with others.

Was noch ...

I love art . Painting, drawing, collaging, building, anything that makes you think and play with shapes, colors, and cohesiveness. I love chess so much so that I will always play, regardless of the fact that I know no strategy, just where each piece can go :) I'm not a big drinker myself, but I like to whip something up for friends. I bartended for 3 years and had a lot of fun with playing with different flavors and presentations of cocktails, while simultaneously getting into the world of beer and wine (something I'd like to eventually get back into).
