Beschreibung

We are Stella and Federica, two curious and energetic travellers from Southern Italy with a one-way ticket and a big love for Asia. We don’t travel for comfort — we travel to learn, help, and connect with local people.
We adapt easily, walk a lot, love meeting new people and enjoy becoming part of everyday life wherever we stay. Stella has experience in bars and hospitality (including teaching basic English and math), while Federica has years of cashier work, great focus and a surprising nerd side. Together we make a reliable, positive and practical team.
Since we come from a culture where cooking is sacred, we cook like grandmothers: generous portions and real flavor. And yes — we also make great cocktails if someone ever wants to try a little Italian-style happy hour.
We love cultural exchange, sharing food and traditions, exploring nature, and discovering how people live outside our world. Workaway for us is a chance to live something real and meaningful. All our past trips have been intense and unforgettable, and we hope this journey will be just as transformative… maybe even more.

We love learning new languages, especially when I can practice directly with local people. We can also teach basic English and mathematics, and I really enjoy language exchange — it’s one of the easiest ways to connect with a new culture.

We’re a strong team — different personalities, same work ethic.

Stella has years of experience working in bars and handling guests in fast-paced environments. She knows how to multitask, keep things organized, welcome people, prepare drinks, and solve problems before they become problems.On top of that, she can teach both basic English and mathematics — a surprisingly useful skill during community projects, schools, or whenever someone wants to learn.. She’s practical, tidy, and great at managing spaces and people.

Federica has been a cashier for years and is one of the most energetic, reliable workers you’ll ever meet. She’s fast, precise, great with numbers and customers, and never loses focus. She’s also an unexpected but passionate nerd and dedicated gamer — you’d never guess it from her looks, but she brings that same concentration, strategy and determination to real-life tasks.

We’ve also worked together in the same bar, and as a duo we’re efficient, positive and very coordinated. We communicate well, divide tasks naturally, and support each other without drama.

We can help with hospitality, reception, cleaning, cooking, gardening, simple maintenance, teaching, social interaction, organizing spaces, or anything practical that needs to get done.
We work hard, we adapt easily, and we keep the atmosphere light and fun.

Was noch ...

We both love walking for hours, discovering random places and talking with people we meet along the way. We enjoy cooking simple local food, trying new dishes, and learning about traditions — the more unusual, the better.
And since we come from Southern Italy, we cook like grandmothers: generous portions, real flavors, and absolutely no chance of going hungry. Cooking well is part of our culture, and we love sharing it.

Federica is a secret gamer and a bit of a nerd — strategy games, RPGs, you name it. She’s also great with anything that requires focus and patience.
Stella is currently learning Chinese (slowly… very slowly), loves teaching English or math when someone is curious, and has a soft spot for anything related to Asian culture.

We like board games, nature, long conversations, and being part of everyday life wherever we stay.
And one thing about us: we’re not really “vacation people”. We travel to feel something, to grow, to collect stories and experiences. So far every trip we’ve taken has been unforgettable — full of intense, crazy, beautiful moments.
With Workaway, we hope to live something just as meaningful… maybe even more.
